PREPARATORY Course (For 6 Semester Course)

(CAB) Computer Aided Basics - Introduce the basic skills of geometrical modeling of products; 2D sketching using the AutoCAD; 3D modeling using the different geometrical models like wireframes, solids, facets, surfaces. Familiar with geometrical transactions, 3D surface modification and Boolean operations. Understanding computing principles and software generation process including program preparation, compilation and debugging. Basic knowledge of C++. Basic knowledge of mathematical formalization and modeling.

CORE Course (For Standard 4 Semester Course)

(CAPM) Computer Aided Product Modeling - 2D CATIA sketching, part design and assembly design. Formation of knowledge of development of integrated product by migration of various models into the logical structure of product and positioning them according to sketch lines of integration. CATIA digital mock-up facilities study.

(CASDA) Data Management and Analysis - Considering the numerical methods of differential equations, methods of data formalization and simulation, analysis and visualization. Meshing and solvers for FEA. Data migration. Smarteam based data management and distribution. Organization of simultaneous engineering and virtual offices. Engineering desktop and data sharing.

(CASE) Computer Aided Software Engineering - C++ OOP. CATIA VBA visual programming. Methods and tools for the interpretation of the CATIA project tree.

(CAPM) Computer Aided Product Modeling - Formation of advanced knowledge of product design and construction. Parametrical modeling with constraints. Methods and tools of static conflict checking for the tasks of integration and dynamical conflicts checking for the installation.

(CASE) Computer Aided Software Engineering - System customization on the base of C++ ObjectARX programming. Relationship between AutoCAD internal and C++ objects. Development of user graphical interface, limitations. Programming of web based agent applications.
